Flexter Modules

When you install Flexter, four modules are installed as command line tools.
xml2er

This module is used to generate Statistics from Source Data. It is also used to create a Data Flow from Source Data (XML). Finally, It is also used to execute a Task to convert Source Data (XML).

xsd2er

This module is used to generate a Data Flow from a Source Schema (XSD).

json2er

This module is used to generate Statistics from Source Data. It is also used to create a Data Flow from Source Data (JSON). Finally, It is used to execute a Task to convert Source Data (JSON) to a Target Format.

merge2er

This module is used to merge smaller files of the same structure into larger files to address the small files problem in Hadoop and Spark.

flexchma

This module is used to install and upgrade the flexter metadata database. It’s based on Liquibase database version control tool.

flexter-ui

This module is used as graphical user interface to show the jobs, diagramas schema leanage offering extra visual funcationality.
